WHAT WE DO
Structural Reports
Structural reports are commonly required when conducting works to existing dwellings. Commonly, our structural reports will provide expertise advice and specify whether the structural elements assessed appear to be compliant or not in a structurally adequate state. These structural reports can be used as a reference for legal authorities and include possible solutions to remedy and damage found. Purposes of these reports include but not limited to:

Dilapidation Reports
A dilapidation report is generally required prior to achieving CC. These include assessing the adjoining dwellings, council assets to examine the condition before and after the construction of the specified project. Our team at AE Consulting are all qualified structural engineers to confidently conduct these site inspections and do whatever is necessary for the project to keep moving forward.
The requirements in a pre-construction dilapidation reports are dependent on DA conditions and can vary from assessing the structural findings on the council assets or the adjoining dwellings. Pre-construction dilapidation reports are essential as it verifies pre-construction conditions should any damage occur during construction; the report will verify whether the damage was there prior or after. Many of the cases, a post-construction dilapidation report is also required to achieve an occupational certificate (OC), no matter the situation, AE Consulting Engineers will help you achieve what it is necessary.
